Regrind, cleaning and polishing services for crankshafts. We also provide repairs and dynamic crankshaft balancing as part of our rebuilds.

We regrind all crankshafts to the correct specification radii. Next, we clean the sludge trap to remove foreign particles and grind the crankshaft journals. Then, we clean the crank again before reassembling the sludge trap. Finally, we highly polish the main journals to the correct surface finish. We also carry out repairs to work splines and worn shafts.

We recommend dynamic crankshaft balancing as part of the engine rebuild. The balancing helps reduce vibrations of the vertical twin engine and produces the smoothest ride of all the options.
